CC London Alerts is a practical app for drivers who need to know when they are approaching, entering, or inside London’s Congestion Charge Zone and, if enabled, the Ultra Low Emission Zone.
It helps you stay alert while you are using Google Maps, Waze, or any other app in the foreground. The app checks your location in the background on your phone and warns you before the charge area and while you are inside it, so you can react without stopping your route.
Privacy is built in from the start. Your location is checked on your device and never sent anywhere. The map and alerts are processed locally. The app does not use ads, analytics, or third-party trackers. The only network use is for street map tiles unless you choose the offline London download.
This is an unofficial app. It uses TfL’s published charging zone boundary and official operating hours, but you should always check current rules with TfL before relying on it.
